My name is Christiaan Donners and I have been working at Hekkelman since 2007. With my expertise, experience and commitment, I am an ideal advisor for entrepreneurs who are faced with issues such as (directors’) liability, restructuring and complex debt collection and attachment cases. I provide clear and result-oriented advice so that entrepreneurs know where they stand.
I always try to resolve disputes without having to resort to court intervention. However, given my many years of litigation experience, I am also perfectly capable of assisting and representing entrepreneurs when proceedings are unavoidable. I am committed, hate to lose and will do anything to achieve the maximum result for my clients.
In addition to my advisory and litigation practice, I am also regularly appointed by the court as liquidator in bankruptcy proceedings. As a result, I know exactly what an entrepreneur can expect in the event of bankruptcy. From the vantage of my knowledge and experience in these matters, I regularly advise companies in financial difficulties during a reorganisation or bankruptcy
Register of areas of law
Christiaan registered the following specialisations in the register of areas of law of the Dutch Bar Association:
Principal area of law: Civil procedure and insolvency law
Sub-area of law: Arbitration, attachment and enforcement law, litigation, bankruptcy, suspension of payment and statutory debt rescheduling (WSNP)
Registration requires Christiaan to obtain 10 CPE credits in each registered area of law in every calendar year in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
