Reducing a problem to its core and then coming up with a solution is what I like best. Corporate law often offers several possibilities, leaving it up to an creative spirit to make the most of these options.

Within the remit of corporate law, I am particularly concerned with corporate structures, both on a national and international level. I coordinate articles of association, shareholder agreements, financing and securities. The search for and finding of a balance between the interests of the parties is always a very specialist task.

Two questions for Ton

  • The practice of a civil-law notary is independent and impartial. As a result, I have a lot of experience weighing up the various interests involved in a transaction or structuring legal entities. This allows me not only to strike a balance between these interests, but also to advise clients as a ‘party notary’, keeping already the counterarguments of the other party in mind.
